Stephen Nelson

Stephen Nelson is a Scottish poet who works in a variety of forms.  Recent books include Lunar Poems for New Religions (KFS Press) and Thorn Corners (erbacce-press).  His visual poetry is primarily letter based and often concerned with spiritual themes.  He sees vispo as a precursor to a more advanced form of inter-personal communication where words are bypassed by consciously shaped electro-magnetic signals.

Connie Tettenborn

A picture paints words; words paint pictures.  Sometimes we mean what we say and say what we mean.  Sometimes there is layer upon layer of meaning, and there is no limit to the imagination.  An idea for a visual poem may come in a flash, but it is refined and reworked as I sketch and paint.  My hope is that the end result will cause the viewer to pause and think and, perhaps, have an appreciation for any insight gained.
